BEACONSFIELD ‘A’ GO TOP WITH FULL HOUSE   

BEACONSFIELD ‘A’ 5 v WEM USC ‘A’ 0 This result could have gone either way with all frames being tight, Steve Adams 13 behind Chris Davey on the blue cleared up with 18 break to win 55-50. Ceri Richards got a good 32 break to help him win 69-37 against Ian Tinsley. The 3rd was an high scoring frame with Simon McLeod just winning against Sam Breaks 70-63, The last was the tightest Jason Bright beating Gavin Tommy by one point 57-56.

======================================================== HARLESCOTT ‘A’ 3 v UNISON ‘B’ 2 Callum Wraight wins the first against Steve Shingler with the help of a good 30 break 73-40, Then Unison take a 46 point lead after Neil Chislett beats Tim Jones 50-41 & the performance of the night came from Billy Lanham after beating Jason Bright he now beats Ade Rowe 91-21 with breaks of 35 & 26. Then we had a big turn round Tony Watkins went and pulled back the 46 points in defeating Clive Phillips 75-4. ========================================================= UNISON ‘F’ 3 v BEACONSFIELD ‘B’ 2 Games shared in a close battle in the first three frames, Haydn Cross went down by 2 points to Rob Jones 57-59, Then Gaz Hughes just lost out to Chris Harrison 44-47. Now Unison 2-0 down Dave Thomas got home by four points 62-58 playing Andy Baron, At the back Mal Edwards was the best winner to give Unison the three points by beating Phil Ryan 79-22. ========================================================== BAGLEY ‘C’ 1 v HARLESCOTT ‘B’ 4 A good performance from the visitors, with Ian Ferriday the best winner 85-18 against Gary Prosser, The next best was Mark Mason 74-38 playing Ross O’Callingham, The other winner was Ian Evans 61-52. For Bagley Danny Sumner won well 54-14 playing Dave Ferriday.

OUT-STANDING CANE SCORE’S 115 POINTS & NEW CONDOVER TEAM GO TOP

HARLESCOTT ‘D’ 1 v CONDOVER ‘A’ 4 Condover go top after this excellent result, the first was a good steady game played by Dean Stone to beat Russ Worrall 59-29. In the 2nd the balls were messy but Peter Hird pulled away at the end, to beat Steve Jones 58-19. The 3rd saw a very good performance from both players, Rhys Williams forced a re-spotted black, but left it over the middle for Alan Childs to pinch the frame for the hosts 58-51. In the last it was the first game for a few years for Steve Stubbs he played well but a 22 break by Dougie Williams helped him to a deserved 63-41 win. ========================================================== MEOLE ‘E’ 2 v HARLESCOTT ‘E’ 3 A good away win for the Harlescott lads who had Two good winners Paul Meredith 65-34 against Andrew Corfield & Bill Duckett with a very good 60-21 playing Pete Connor. For Meole Martin Blizard just made it 65-62 playing Terry Burgess & Tim Corfield won 56-31 against Steve Weaver. ========================================================= UNISON ‘E’ 4 v HARLESCOTT ‘C’ 1 Martin Cane was the best of three big winners 72-27 break 25 against Andy Simpson. Next best came Alan Thomas 64-25 playing Jon Rigby & Kevin McEvory 61-42 over Russ Price. For the visitors Dan Manning was the only winner in a tight frame against Alex Nuthall 45-43. ==================================================== BEACONSFIELD ‘C’ 0 v PRESTON BROCKHURST ‘A’ 5 A spirited performance from village lads in taking the ‘C’ lads off the top of the table after this full house. Pip Higgins just got the better of Steve Farmer 44-38, then Glyn Buckley was the best winner 77-17 playing Dave Fisher. On 3rd Arn Mulligan just got the better of Martin Lewis 49-33 & at the back Adrian Trowsdale beat Mike Ryder 53-39. ===================================================== BEACONSFIELD ‘D’ 1 v OLD SHREWSBURY ‘A’ 4 A good away win for the Shrews who had Tony Preece in fine form with a 73-32 win over Graham Archer. The next big winner was Tony Bennett 64-35 playing Pete Archer & the other winner was Rob Bebbington 48-23. For the hosts Mike Feltham won 50-33 against Graig Weaver.
