UNISON ‘B’ 1 v MEOLE ‘A’ 4 Plus one Bonus Break.
Great result for the Meole Lads with only 3 players, Matt Ryder was outstanding with a 75 bonus break & to win 122-0. Other winners were Tom Hancher 63-51 & Mike Beasley 67-45, for Unison Andrew Cashion had a walk-over.

BEACONSFIELD ‘B’ 1 v UNISON ‘A’ 4 Plus one Bonus Break
In this match John Barton was star of the show with a Brilliant 75 bonus break to win 117-0. Other winners for the visitors were Colin Beaman 57-30 & Mike Barnsley 56-39 with an excellent 27 clearance. Unison stay top after this result.

MEOLE ‘F’ 5 v OLD SHREWSBURY ‘A’ 0
All the Meole players played excellently with good potting and safety play being the outstanding feature Tony Downes 49-35. Andy Sparkes 74-29. Brendan Coote 67-35 & Dave Berry 76-17.

UNISON ‘F’ 3 v BEACONSFIELD ‘A’ 2
The ‘F’ Lads produced a good performance when they beat second in the table to win a very tight match 3-2. Danny Sumner was the star of the show beating last years Shrewsbury Individual Champion Jason Bright with a 37 break and 79-50. The other home winner was Haydn Cross 65-37. For the visitors Dave Davies 40-36 & Steve Adams 63-33.

BAGLEY ‘A’ 3 v HARLESCOTT ‘A’ 2
Bagley sent last years champion’s packing after 3 wins Alan Ball had beat Callum Wraight 49-31, then Martin Young potted well to win 72-56 & Mick Keene 39-32. For the visitors Mike Beer not only won 78-28 but took the aggregate point for his team.

WEM USC ‘A’ 0 v BAGLEY ‘C’ 5
This was the big shock of the week with the visitors getting a full house Ross Callingham 64-44, Mike Jones 59-34, Jim Davidson 52-44 & Gary Prosser 51-28.

MEOLE ‘E’ 1 v UNISON ‘E’ 4
Good away win for Unison despite the setback of Andy Prestwich taking the first frame 59-42. We all welcome Andy back. The Unison took the next three frames, Kevin Ebrey 51-35. Mike Hughes 67-45 & Alex Nuttall 61-44.

HARLESCOTT ‘B’ 4 v WEM USC ‘C’ 1
Harlescott march on towards promotion Ian Evans a bit lucky to win by one point 48-47. Dave Ferriday 65-31 & Mark Mason 60-31, for Wem Greg Edwards took the last with the help of 22 break to win 59-39.

HARLESCOTT ‘F’ 1 v WEM USC ‘B’ 4
The ‘F’ men well beaten with only Brian Duckett winning at the back 56-45. Wem winners were Simon Perry 67-18. Ian Bailey 77-27 & the best winner Alan Smith 68-16.

HARLESCOTT ‘D’ 3 v BEACONSFIELD ‘D’ 2
This was a good competitive game that ended in a draw, but for Shane Powell’s 63-35 & Steven Jones 36-21 win. The visitors were two down but came back well with wins from Tony Antrobus 62-43 & Pete Archer 48-42 just missing the aggregate by 18 points.

PRESTON BROCKHURST ‘A’ 2 v MEOLE ‘G’ 3
All hard fought games, Pip Higgins trailing but fought back well to clinch frame 58-38. Glyn Buckley giving away 23 points going in off was very unlucky, but good win for Kevin Price 86-42. It was a good battle between Arn Mulligan and Andy Wigginton, Arn coming out on top 52-37. Adrian  Trowsdale on last was trailing most of the game, had a good chance to make a game of it, shot on pink let him down Peter Price won 54-19.
