This was excellent snooker from all the Meole players, Matt Ryder came out best with a 99-7 win with breaks of 30 & 26. Then it was Ross Corfield 70-29 with a excellent 40 break. The other two winners were Tom Hancher 72-32 & Mike Beasley 72-40 with a good 39 break.

BEACONSFIELD ‘A’ 5 v UNISON ‘F’ 0
The Champions stay 2nd after this full house, Steve Adams won the player of the week after an outstanding performance with breaks of 27 & 47 to win 94-37, not far behind was Jason Bright 82-19 & Dave Davies 70-17, the other winner was Simon McLoed 55-39 break 21.

WEM USC ‘A’ 4 v BAGLEY ‘C’ 1
Wem had two big wins from Chris Davey 66-16 & Gavin Tommy 100-31. Sam Breakes & Mike Jones had a nip & tuck frame with just pulling a 63-51 win out of the Bag. Ross did well to take the last frame 47-25 for Bagley.

WEM USC ‘C’ 4 v HARLESCOTT ‘B’ 1
This was an excellent result for the ‘C’ men, with Duncan Hill having the highest win 76-33. The other three frames were tighter Greig Edwards 64-51 & Pete Day 54-41. Mark Mason won for the visitors 66-46.

HARLESCOTT ‘E’ 2 v HARLESCOTT ‘C’ 3
In this local derby the ‘C’ men took the first two frame’s after big wins from Craig Charles 65-35 & Dan Manning 70-28. The ‘E’ men came back well but missed out on the aggregate point. Bill Duckett 63-59 & Steve Weaver 62-34, Steve had an excellent 36 break.

MEOLE ‘E’ 3 v BEACONSFIELD ‘D’ 2
Martin Blizard 57-32 & Pete Connor 64-32 won this match for Meole. For the visitors Graham Archer was best at 89-42 & Tony Antobus won a tight frame 56-50 over Geoff Balshaw.

BEACONSFIELD ‘C’ 4 v OLD SHREWSBURY ‘A’ 1
This was a game of two big winners one big defeat & a walk-over. Steve Farmer set this match a light with a 61-19 win, the other winner for the hosts was Mike Ryder 73-31. For the Shrews Craig Weaver won well 68-31. The Shrews had to give a frame away are still looking for a new player to join them.

Condover are looking good on there return to the Snooker League. Three big scoring wins from Syd Longland 84-46, Charlie Hughes 63-36 & Dean Stone 79-59. Dougie Williams won a tight frame against Simon Perry 45-37.

PRESTON BROCKHURST ‘A’ 4 v UNISON ‘E’ 1.
A great result for the Brock after some tight frames, Winners were Pip Higgins 53-38, Arnie Mulligan 57-45 & Adrian Trowsdale the best scorer 72 46, for Unison Martin Cane 56-45 just defeating Glyn Buckley.
