A very good 3 points for the Shrews against a strong Wem side. Graig Weaver was the star performer with a 70-29 win. The other Shrews winner was Danny Christmas rolling back the years with a 53-52 win. For Wem Jason Lockett 53-38 & Ian Tinsley 54-31.

Harlescott ‘A’ 4 plus a Bonus point v Unison ‘B’ 1
Two points with an excellent bonus break of 56 in winning 86-27. Callum Wraight just made it 56-48 & Ade Rowe 61-42. For Unison Clive Phillips beat Sean Nolan who made a 29 break but still lost 51-52.

Beaconsfield ‘A’ 3 plus a Bonus point v Meole ‘F’ 2 plus a Bonus point.
This looked like being an excellent match with two bonus points plus shared frames. Jason Bright was unstoppable again getting a 63 bonus break to win 102-14. The other big performance came from Dave Berry with a 53 and a 26 in winning 92-33. Steve Adams had a 24. Dave Davies won 74-53. Then for Meole Andy Sparkes 73-63.

UNISON ‘A’ 5 v BAGLEY ‘A’ 0
Unison go top after this full house. Mike Barnsley being the best winner 88-12. Then came Colin Beaman 55-29. John Barton had a 23 break in his 58-38 win. In the other frame Mark Blomfield potted a brilliant pink down the rail before the middle pocket at speed to win 62-46.

MEOLE ‘A’ 4 v BEACONSFIELD ‘B’ 1
Another solid home win for the bracers. Ross Corfield 46-39. Tom Hancher 54-31 & Mike Beasley 55-20 being the winners. Andy Baron won for the visitors 49-36.

BAGLEY ‘C’ 3 v UNISON ‘F’ 2
Games were drawn in this match with the home side claiming the aggregate with their best result from Gary Prosser 60-30. The other winner was Ross O’Calaghan 69-54. For Unison Danny Sumner was best 73-46 & Haydn Cross just won 44-40.

A big away win for the Brock with Adrian Trowsdale best 67-29, then it was Glyn Buckley 73-44 & Pip Higgins 61-40. For Wem Alan Smith had a very good 65-29 win.

Wem had a strong side out with the best performance coming from the Visitors Alan Childs 88-11. For Wem, Craig Edwards was best 71-28, then Duncan Hill 60-23 & Pete Day 64-35.

BEACONSFIELD ‘D’ 2 v MEOLE ‘E’ 3
A good win by the ‘E’ men having 3 winners, Geoff Balshaw 67-46, Pete Connor 57-44 & Andrew Corfield 41-40. Then the performance of the match came from Tony Antrobus who not only won 84-35 but took the aggregate by 14 points.

The ‘G’ Slingers are beaten at home after Jon Hedger 77-43 & Mike Ryder 51-45 won for the visitors. For Meole Steve Hayley 50-45 & Andy Wigginton 49-36.

A good away win for the leaders, taking the first two & the last, with Ian Ferriday best 56-22 then Mark Mason 53-31 & Ian Evans 62-43. For Unison Kevin Ebrey won 43-30.
