DIVISION ONE
Wem Cons A 2, Meole Brace A 2
Tom Hancher continued his strong form to beat Duncan Hill 86-36. Ross Corfield made it 2-0 to the visitors 61-24 against Pete Maddon. Wem then turned it round, Glen Barclay winning the third 55-39 over Ross Turner before Greg Edwards outscored Kelvin Li 52-32.
Beaconsfield A 1, Harlescott A 3
The league gladly welcomes back Gavin Tommy, but Mike Barnsley wasn’t so hospitable winning 67-9 helped by his 39 break. In a closer second Callum Wraight got the better of Tony Watkins 68-46. The next was closer still as Ade Rowe just beat Dave Davies 46-37 before another tight frame saw Steve Adams just lose out to Billy Lanham 61-51.
Meole Brace F 2, Meole Brace C 2
In this Meole derby Ross O’Callaghan won again, this time 66-31 over Steve Switonski. Andy Bowers levelled for the hosts against Mike Jones 51-21. Danny Sumner then knocked in a 32 on his way to claiming Dave Berry’s scalp 57-46 before Andy Sparkes took the last 64-17 from Gary Prosser.

DIVISION TWO
Meole Brace H 1, Meole Brace B 3
Two high scoring games to start this match, Brendan James just getting the first 58-48 from Steve Memmott. Paul Meredith got the next 58-47 over Ian Faulkner helped by a break of 22 to level. Adam Law compiled a 30 in beating Jordan Phillips 63-26 then Adam Cook took the last 46-21 from Mark Vaughan.
Meole Brace G 3, Meole Brace D 1
Kev Ebrey won the opener 57-30 playing Bryan Price, after that it was all the G team. Peter Price beat Martin Cane 65-19, Andy Wigginton won 54-19 over Alex Nuthall before Mike Beer took the final frame 81-38 against Mike Hughes.
Unison F 4, Condover B 0
Great first outing this season for Matty Edwards, outpotting Terry Burgess 76-33. Reece Jones just got home 45-39 playing Bill Duckett. Andy Plant beat Dave Francis 49-21, then Dave Thomas made it a full house by winning 54-30 over Vic Ingram.
Condover A 2, Beaconsfield D 2
Beaconsfield remain unbeaten in the league but were held to a draw out at Condover. Alan Childs got the visitors off to a flyer, not giving Syd Longland an opportunity he won 71-9 with the help of a 32 break. Rob Bebbington brought Condover level, beating Steve Jones 55-15. Dougie Williams took the third from Antony Downes 58-30 then at the back captain Shane Powell restored parity for Beaconsfield 58-22 over Paul Rumbold.
