HANCHER’S SUPER PERFORMANCE    

UNISON ‘F’ 0 v UNISON ‘A’ 5 An excellent full house for the ‘A’ team, with Paul Gemmell standing in for Colin Beaman, looked a bit ruster at the start, but pulled back towards the end for a 54-32 win, The best winner was John Barton again 83-13, then came Yours Truly 67-36 & Mike Barnsley 51-42. ============================================================= BEACONSFIELD ‘A’ 4 v WEM USC ‘C’ 1 Comfortable win for the League Leaders with Simon McLeod best at 100-26, then came Jason Bright 94-28 & Steve Adams 77-22. Duncan Hill played very well for Wem with an excellent 71-54 plus a good 32 break, Dave Davies had a 24 in this frame. ============================================================= MEOLE ‘A’ 2 Plus a 53 bonus point v UNISON ‘B’ 3 This was the 2nd defeat in a row for 2nd placed Meole, The Unison Lads went three frames up after good wins from Steve Shingler 50-39, Neil Chisllett 53-45 & Billy Lanham 55-50 who’s having a great season in Division One, but the performance of the night came from Tom Hancher picking up 3 points for his team, with st a bonus break of 53 plus winning 116-19 & taking the aggregate point. ============================================================= BAGLEY ‘C’ 3 v HARLESCOTT ‘A’ 2 The visitors had a good start with a good 69-40 win for Tony Watkins & a close win for Steve Maddocks. Then Bottom of the table Bagley turned the tables round with two excellent performance’s Ross O’collaghan started it off with a 65-34 win & Gary Prosser getting his first win & it was big in beating Callum Wraight 64-56, to help Bagley win 3-2. ============================================================ WEM USC ‘A’ 4 v BEACONSFIELD ‘B’ 1 The visitors started well with Andy Baron 70-41, then just fell away after Ian Tinsley took the 2nd 75-33, Martyn Bebb the 3rd with the help of an excellent 31 break, Chris Harrison had a 24 in this frame but went down 45-58, The last saw a welcome back Roger Dodington who won 90-40.

DOUBLE JOY FOR BUCKLEY   

PRESTON BROCKHURST ‘A’ 2 v BEACONSFIELD ‘D’ 3 The first frame was won by Graham Archer with some amazing fukes 51-44, The 2nd was another terrible frame for the Brock lads, with Jim Wood winning 39-29, Glyn Buckley was Brocks savior of the night picking up two points with the aggregate, in winning 64-22, The last was another frame were fukes won the game for Jim Green 53-48. Brock skipper not happy. ============================================================= HARLESCOTT ‘C’ aggregate points going to the home side, after going 2 down after wins from Pete Seddon 51-50 & Mark Perry 68-59. Then the fight back from Ross Price 60-42 & Andy Simpson being the best winner 69-38. ============================================================ UNISON ‘E’ 1 v HARLESCOTT ‘D’ 4 A good away win for Harlescott after Martin Cane just took a tight frame off Russ Worrall 51-50, then the visitors took the next 3, Steve Jones 54-36, Alan Childs just winning 52-48 & the best winner Shane Powell 71-16. ============================================================ BEACONSFIELD ‘C’ 1 v HARLESCOTT ‘E’ 4 A great result for the ‘E’ men against the 2nd placed team, after just going one down when Martin Lewis won a tight frame 48-45, Then it was the visitors all the way with Steve Weaver best 68-24 with an excellent 37 break. Then came Jon Hughes 62-41 & Paul Meredith 76-55. ============================================================= OLD SHREWSBURY ‘A’ 2 v BAGLEY ‘A’ 3 This match was played at the Unison Club, BAgley had two big winners with Alan Ball best at 68-27 with a 25 break & Colin Vaughan 70-37. For the Shrews Tony Preece bigest win 59-30 & Tony Bennett 55-31.
