BRIGHT WITH FAB 77 BONUS BREAK

BEACONSFIELD ‘A’ 4 Plus one Bonus point. v MEOLE ‘F’ 1 This was a match of four big winners, Steve Adams started it off withf excellent potting with breaks of 32 & 47 in defeating Andy Bowers 90-28, Back came the Meole with Dave Berry who got the better of Dave Davies 84-45. The next frame saw only four scoring visits, with only three safety shots, Andy Sparkes in first with 16, Then Jason Bright with a brilliant 77 bonus point break, Andy came back with 17 & Jason with an 18 clearance, Outstanding frame. ============================================================== UNISON ‘A’ 4 v BEACONSFIELD ‘B’ 1. This was a match of 3 easy wins & one excellent frame. Colin Beaman started it off with the bigest win 89-16 with 2 breaks 0f 24 in beating Simon richards, Then we had the best frame between Mike Barnsley & Chris Harrison, Mike had a very good 33 break, then Chris came back well to take down two last 2 balls, Mike just took the frame 62-58, The 3rd saw a big win for John Barton over Geoff Evans 73-24 break 23, The last saw good potting from Andy Baron who won 52-19, against yours Trul y who never turned up after last weeks big win. =============================================================== HARLESCOTT ‘A’ 4 v UNISON ‘F’ 1 Harlescott are closing in on the leading two, this match saw two big winners, Tony Watkins best at 98-24 over Mal Edwards & Callum Wraight 76-24 playing Dave Thomas, Steve Maddox got the better of Haydn Cross 52-34 & for the visitors Gaz Hughes beat Tim Jones 56-38. =============================================================== UNISON ‘B’ 3 v HARLESCOTT ‘B’ 2 The Unison Lads won 3 of the 4 frames, but with Dave Ferriday winning 66-17 against Andrew Cashion, taking 2 points with the aggregate point, For Unison Steve Shingler won a close frame against Ian Evans 40-33, Billy Lanham won a good scoring frame 63-50 playing Ian Ferriday & Clive Phillips won the last against Mark Mason 54-30.

ALAN BALL WITH 2nd BONUS POINT   

HARLESCOTT ‘D’ 3 v OLD SHREWSBURY ‘A’ 2 A good battle for the first frame, Tony Bennett defeating Russ Worrall on the black 50-42. The 2nd was a solid game from Steve Jones to level beating Rob Bebbington 57-34, The 3rd was a messy table that meant a low scoring start, Alan Childs stretched away on the colours, to beat Craig Weaver 55-23, Tony Preece potted very well and made a big score to win frame but Mel Griffiths scored enough to protect the aggregate, Tony won 75-48. ============================================================= HARLESCOTT ‘E’ 2 v WEM USC ‘B’ 3 The Wem Lads go 3-0 up, after Simon Perry took the first off Terry Burgess 43-13 with a 22 clearance, Ian Bailey just got the better of Bill Duckett 55-47, Then Guy Tipton just got the better of Paul Meredith 50-42, Then the big shock Steve Weaver not only won the last for the Hosts 99-25 but got an excellent 35 break to beat Peter Seddon & taking the aggregate point. ============================================================= BEACONSFIELD ‘C’ 1 v MEOLE ‘G’ 4 The 2nd Division title race has been blown wide open with this shock 4-1 defeat of the leaders, The 3 Meole players played excellently, Andy Wiggington started it off beating Steve Farmer 64-49 with the help of a 26 break, Then Martin Reader beat Jimmy Evans 56-38 & Pete Price won against Jon Hedger 56-38, Mike Ryder did take the last for the Hosts 53-26 playing Kevin Price. ============================================================== BAGLEY ;A’ 4 Plus one bonus point v BEACONSFIELD ‘D’ 1 After Alan Ball had raced to victory in the first frame 83-23 over Tony Antrobus and compiled a superb 43 bonus break, then Martin Young lost out to Jim Wood 60-33, back came Colin Vaughan with a big 92-38 win over Graham Archer, then in the last Mick Keene got the better of Pete Archer 56-36. ============================================================= CONDOVER ‘A’ 1 v HARLESCOTT ‘C’ 4 The visitors went home happy, after Dan Manning beat Syd Longland 59-43, Ross Price was then the best winner by beating Deen Stone 73-34, Condover did take the 3rd Lester Bufton taking out Jon Rigby 63-52, At the back Craig Charles just won 46-38 playing Dougle Williams.
