Beaconsfield B 3, Wem Cons A 1

Andy Baron dominated the first, with a 26 break in building up a 54-0 lead.  He went on to beat an off colour Josh Whittall 64-11.  The second had some superb safety from both players throughout, at the end Pete Maddon potted a great blue but was unlucky to finish awkwardly on the pink.  It was Simon Richards who took pink and black to nick it 47-46.  Will Skerratt was the better potter during his slog with yours truly 69-26.  Mike Beasley took a commanding lead against Greg Edwards until Greg potted an outstanding green and looked set to clear.  But he missed the pink which enabled Mike to cross the line with a good long pink 64-42.
