This was again 3 big winners from the visiting Harlescott Lads, with Callum Wraight in excellent potting form winning 89-27 with a bonus break of 53, the other two winners were Ade Rowe 86-14 & Tony Watkins 67-32, for Unison Clive Phillips took the 2nd frame 62-43.

WEM USC ‘A’ 2 v BEACONSFIELD ‘A’ 3
This top of the table game ended up games shared, with the leaders having two big wins from Jason Bright 102-22 & Dave Davies with an excellent performance with breaks of 31 & 26 in winning 92-39, for Wem Ian Tinsley won a tight frame 65-58 & Martyn Bebb 58-52.

WEM USC ‘C’ 0 v MEOLE ‘A’ 5
This was a big away win for 2nd placed Meole Lads, only the first frame was anywere near Wem winning a frame, In that first frame Mike Beasley won 52-34, The other 3 winners were Tom Hancher best at 120-1 with a good 36 break, then came Ross Corfield 96-10, At the Matt Ryder had a walk-over, Wem having only 3 players.

PRESTON BROCKHURST ‘A’ 3 v BEACONSFIELD ‘C’ 2
A top of the table clash saw Brock pinch the aggregate by 5 points, thanks to a big win at the back by Adrian Trowsdale, Pip Higgins off form at the moment, lost the first frame, he had some good pots but didn’t go his way, Martin Lewis taking advantage to win 55-31, Arn Mulligan played a very good game, potted well for a deserved frame 56-27, Glyn Buckley 20 up early on, then had some bad luck, potted some good balls, but went inoff 4 times, John Hedger came back with a 21 break to take a vital win 83-31 for B/Field, Brock now 47 points behind going into last frame, Adrian played out of his skin, superb display of potting, Game went to black ball for aggregate, for both teams, Mike Ryder potted black only to go
in off, for Adrian to win 66-14 and take the aggregate point.

CONDOVER ‘A’ 0 v HARLESCOTT ‘D’ 5
A big away win for the ‘D’ Lads, with 4 good winners, Russ Worrall was the best winner 66-38, The next aggregate winner was Shane Powell 46-23, The other two players won by 19 points, Alan Childs 53-34 & Steve Jones 55-36.

This win maintained 4th place for the hosts, who had Craig Charles winning 101-35 with a 24 break, after the hosts went one down when Martin Cane just won 57-49, John Rigby took the 3rd 46-27 & Andy Simpson 66-43 break 18.

MEOLE ‘G’ 4 v WEM USC ‘B’ 1
The G’Slingers are now only one point behind 2nd place, with a game in hand, Meole had two big winners Andy Wigginton best with an outstanding 116-17 win, the other one was Brian Price 72-38, the other winner was Pete Price but only just 55-45. For Wem Simon Perry won at the back 53-42.

HARLESCOTT ‘E’ 4 v MEOLE ‘E’ 1
Only Pete Connor could win for Meole with an excellent 84-24 win, Harlescott took the next 3, Jon Hughes 68-46 after Martin Blizard had a 24 break, Then came Paul Meredith 58-21 & last but not list Steve Weaver 63-11.
