WE NEED TO REFORM THE LEAGUE’S NEXT SEASON LIKE 4 LEAGUE’S of 6 or 7 TEAMS

UNISON ‘F’ 0 v BEACONSFIELD ‘A’ 5 Big win again by the League Leaders, Dave Davies starting it off with a 55-37 against Gaz Hughes, then it was two big winners Simon McLoed was best at 74-18 playing Dave Thomas & Jason Bright 66-24 with a good 30 break playing Haydn Cross, The last winner was Steve Adams 69-47 playing Mal Edwards. ==================================================== MEOLE ‘F’ 2 v UNISON ‘A’ 3 Mike Barnsley had a good start against Dave Berry, then it all changed with Dave getting a 22 break and taking over for a 72-39 win. Colin Beaman had a hard game to get the better of Andy Sparkes 63-48. The 3rd was a meeting of two players still looking to get some old form back with Steve Bebb coming off best 54-37 against Yours Truly, in the last John Barton was still in great potting form in not only winning 80-18 but pulling back the aggregate. ====================================================== BEACONSFIELD ‘B’ 1 v MEOLE ‘A’ 4 The visitors go three up after wins from Mike Beasley 56-43 playing Rob Jones, Then it was the best performance of the night came from Matt Ryder with breaks of 35. 25 & 25 in beating Chris Harrison 114-1. Next up was Ross Corfield with a 74-30 win over Simon Richards, At the back Andy Baron did take a very good frame off Tom Hancher 71-39 with an excellent 37 break. ====================================================== BAGLEY ‘C’ 0 v WEM USC ‘A’ 5 The Bagley Lads are still going down fighting, After Wem took all four Frames, Chris Davey took the first off Ross O’Callaghan 71-30, then Ian Tinsley only just beat Jamie Davidson 69-59, The best win of the night came in the 3rd frame Sam Breakes beating Mike Jones 73-31, At the back Gavin Tommy made it a full house 61-43 playing Gary Prosser. =========================================================

BEACONSFIELD ‘D’ 1 v MEOLE ‘E’ 4. Meole win 3 of the 4 frames, but only pinch the aggregate by 14 for a good away win, Pete Connor took the first off Jim Wood 54-33, Martin Blizard just got the 2nd 63-56 against Graham Archer & Andy Corfield won the last 65-56 playing Jim Green, The hosts won the 3rd Tony Antorbus winning 47-24 against Geoff Balshaw. ========================================================== HARLESCOTT ‘C’ 3 v HARLESCOTT ‘E’ 2 In this local derby the ‘C’ Lads took 3 of the 4 frames, with the ‘E’ pinching the aggregate by 3 points thanks to a 2nd frame win by Paul Meredith 61-40 with an 18 clearance helping him against Craig Charles, Winners for the ‘C’ men Dan Manning 47 v Terry Burgess 43, John Rigby 53 v Jon Hughes 45 with a 25 clearance & Russ Price 50 v Steve Weaver 44. =========================================================== MEOLE ‘G’ 3 v BAGLEY ‘A’ 2 Games were shared with Pete Price beating Martin Young 62-36 and Kevin Price getting the better of Mike Keene 65-48, For the Bags Alan Ball in a hard game against Andy Wigginton 64-54 & Colin Vaughan getting the better of Brian Price 58-35. ============================================================== OLD SHREWSBURY ‘A’ 3 v BEACONSFIELD ‘C’ 2 The Shrews knock Beacon off the top spot, After a big win for Tony Bennett 89-27 with an excellent 32 break against Martin Lewis & Rob Bebbington beating Steve Farmer 72-36, The Beacon came back fighting, with Jon Hedger big 65-15 win over Craig Weaver & Mike Ryder getting the better of Tony Preece 49-35. ============================================================ UNISON ‘E’ 2 v PRESTON BROCKHURST ‘A’ 3 Unison go down at home to the new leaders, after Arn Mulligan beat Robson Webster 79-33 & Adrian Trowsdale won the last against Mike Hughes 66-30. For Unison Alan Thomes took the first off Pip Higgins 65-27 & Martin Cane 63-33 over Glyn Buckley. ============================================================= WEM USC ‘B’ 3 v CONDOVER ‘A’ 2 Condover went all the way to Wem & lost a tight match on aggregate, after Simon Perry had beat Colin Barton 53-34 break 23 & Ian Bailey got the better of Syd Longland 63-35, For Condover Charlie Hughes 38-30 & Dougie Williams 53-38
