UNISON ‘B’ 0 v WEM USC ‘A’ 5 A goodbest away win for the Utd Services Club who move up to 4th after this strong performance led by Chris Davey 65-26, then Sam Breakes 78-38, Martyn Bebb winning a tight frame 48-43 & the best performance coming at the back from Gavin Tommy with a 96-16 win. =========================================================== BAGLEY ‘C’ 0 v MEOLE ‘F’ 5 Tony Downes 69-27, Andy Sparkes 55-29, Steve Bebb 67-45 & Dave Berry 61-48 helped the Meole Brace side move off the bottom of the table with this excellent full house. =========================================================== BEACONSFIELD ‘A’ 5 v HARLESCOTT ‘B’ 0 A big win for the League Leader’s with only one close frame & that was Steve Adams winning 54-45, the best of the others was Simon McLeod 98-22, Jason Bright 80-21 & Dave Davies 71-25. =========================================================== HARLESCOTT ‘A’ 3 v UNISON ‘A’ 2 A strong performance from two players Callum Wraight for the hosts with breaks of 49 & a 25 clearance in a 110-17 win, then we had John Barton winning 65-17 with a 24 break, the other winners was Mike barnsley for the visitors who came back from being behind to win well 65-30, The other host’s other winner was Tony Wakins 59-44 against Yours Truly who had a 21 break. ============================================================= WEM USC ‘C’ 2 v UNISON ‘F’ 3 Unison won the aggregate point by just 8 points, Dave Thomas was the best winner for the away team 80-35 with a break of 36. The other winner was Paul Witby 56-31 putting Unison 2-0 up, then Wem came back with wins from Greg Edwards 55-26 & Duncan Hill 61-28.

CONDOVER ‘A’ 1 v PRESTON BROCCKHURST ‘A’ 4 A good away win for the Brock who jump over Condover into 2nd place after this strong performance led by Pip Higgins 41-34, then it was Glyn Buckley who had the best win 65-32, the other winner was Arn Mulligan 54-48, for Condover who stopped the white wash was Charlie Hughes 46-36. ========================================================== HARLESCOTT ‘D’ 4 v BAGLEY ‘A’ 1 Martin Young made some excellent pots all through the frame, but Russ Worrall was never far behind & won it by a point on the black 46-45, Good effort by Steve Stubbs but Alan Ball showed his quality to win 63-42. Colin Vaughan struggled to get into the frame, a 22 break and an 18 clearance helped Alan Childs win comfortable for his 7th win of the season. ======================================================= WEM USC ‘B’ 3 v BEACONSFIELD ‘D’ 2 Games shared but a big win by Peter Madden at the back for Wem 87-10 took the aggregate, the other Wem winner was Ian Bailey 56-27 with a 25 break, For the visitors Tony Antrobus was best 51-36, then Graham Archer 48-34 with a 25 break. ======================================================== HARLESCOTT ‘E’ 0 v OLD SHREWSBURY ‘A’ 5 Now 4th Placed Shrews had a big away win with Craig Weaver best winner 42-23, then came Tony Bennett 65-47, Rob Bebbington 47-36 & Tony Preece 53-45. ======================================================== UNISON ‘E’ 2 v Meole ‘G’ 3 Games were drawn with 3 tight frames and a runaway winner for Meole & that was Martin Reader with an excellent 65-12 win, the other winner was Bryan Price 66-53, For the hosts Martin Cane 62-35 & Alan Thomas 48-44. ========================================================== BEACONSFIELD ‘C’ 3 v HARLESCOTT ‘C’ 2 Beacon take over the lead again after good wins from Steve Farmer 72-43 & Jon Hedger 75-49. for the visitors Dan Manning 56-29 & Craig Charles 55-42.
