BEACONSFIELD ‘A’ CLINCH TITLE
Beaconsfield clinch league by 2 points from Meole ‘A’ after a tight final match at home to Old Shrewsbury ‘A’ 3-2 but had it not been for a substantial victory by Simon McCleod they could easily have lost this final match, Craig Weaver set the balls running with an excellent 67-39 win over Steve Adams who had a 26 break, the hosts took the next two Dave Davies 68-51 Tony Bennett had a 22 break in this frame, the star of the show was Simon McCleod who won 81-27, then the big shock Jason Bright went down at home to an outstanding potting performance by Tony Preece 60-29.
Meole ‘A’ end up runners up and were in no mood to concede defeat winning 5-0 against Bagley ‘C’ after Mike Beasley 70-25 with breaks of 28 & 22, Matt Ryder 96-25, Ross Corfield 57-32 break 22 & Tom Hancher 82-24.
Unison ‘A’ who finished 4th went two up against Harlescott ‘A’ who finished 3rd this season, Colin Beaman was in potting form winning 88-23, then John Barton just made it 2-0 by just winning 53-46, then the fight back Ade Rowe 68-34, still Unison were 38 points up. Callum Wraight was not letting this match go and was in fine form with a 46 break and pinching the aggregate off unison by 4 points 212-208 after winning 75-33.
Bagley ‘A’ are well beaten at home 4-1 by Meole ‘F’ Dave Berry set this match on fire with a 71-18 win, then it was Tony Downes 72-33 & Andy Sparkes 59-44, Alan Ball did take the last 67-54.
Wem USC ‘A’ Win at home 4-1, Sam Breaks 40-36, Martyn Bebb 70-53 & Gavin Tommy 57-44 for Unison ‘F’ Dave Thomas with a very good 30 break Won 63-45.

HARLESCOTT ‘B’ TAKE TITLE
Harlescott ‘B’ thrashed Harlescot ‘D’ 5-0 will now be back in Division One next season after big wins from Ian Evans 69-32, Dave Ferriday 56-43 Steve Jones had a 21 break in this frame, Mark Mason 82-32 and Ian Ferriday 61-20.
Unison ‘E’ did very well when they visited Beaconsfield ‘D’ and came away 5-0 winners Alex Nuthall 59-48, Alan Thomas 43-41, Martin Cane 64-27 & Mike Hughes 49-48 that was tight.
Wem USC ‘C’ finished runners up in this after winning at Meole ‘G’ 3-2 with wins from Greg Edwards 82-33 & Duncan Hill 52-24 for Meole who went 2 up after Martin Reader 57-39 & Andy Wigginton 54-36.
Meole ‘E’ win 3-2 at Harlescot ‘F’ with wins from Pete Connor 48-35 & Andrew Corfield 67-54, for the hosts Brian Duckett 51-46 & Billy Lanham 60-48 Martin Blizard had a 22 break in this frame.
Preston Brockhurst go out on a high with a 4-1 win over Beaconsfield ‘C’ Adrian Trowsdale 82-31 break 23, Arnie Mulligan 56-35 & Glyn Buckley 75-25, for the visitors Mike Ryder 59-38.
