A comfortable victory for the ‘A’ team starting with Mike Beasley 60-29. Then Matt Ryder had a good 30 break in winning 95-17. Tony Downes pulled a point back to win 48-29. Back came the ‘A’ men when Ross Corfield won well 87-36.

UNISON ‘A’ 4 v UNISON ‘F’ 1
In this match John Barton was in potting form with an excellent 39 break to win 83-34. Then Gaz Hughes did the same for the ‘F’ men without the break 80-35. John Teckoe was on 3rd and in a long game won well 57-23. At the back Mike Barnsley made it 4-1 winning 68-42.

BEACONSFIELD ‘A’ 4 v BEACONSFIELD ‘B’ 1
The ‘A’ came out on top with big wins from Mark Crees 70-47. Jason Bright 90-20 and Ceri Richards 68-44, for the ‘B’ Chris Harrison won well 66-31.

OLD SHREWSBURY ‘A’ 3 v UNISON ‘B’ 2
The Shrews back in the first after a long time out. The Shrews have two good winners Tony Bennett 78-36 & Danny Christmas 62-36. For Unison Steve Shingler just got home 59-50 & Clive Phillips 59-55.

BAGLEY ‘C’ 2 v BAGLEY ‘A’ 3
The ‘A’ team just came out on top by 9 points. Alan Ball was best at 65-21 and Kevin Pilsbury the other winner 59-39. The ‘C’ men took the first two frames Mike Jones 50-35 and Gary Prosser 69-29 break 25.

WEM USC ‘C’ 4 v HARLESCOTT ‘F’ Glyn Edwards started this match off with an excellent 87-9 win and a good 32 break. On 2nd Bill Duckett pulled a frame back winning 53-45. Then Peter Day won well 71-17. At the back Duncan hill took it well 75-24.

The visitors came out on top in this battle with wins from Ian Evans 53-35. Adrian Hanks 51-20 & Ian Ferriday 68-57. For Wem Ian Bailey won 66-24.

A good away success for Brock with win’s from Pip Higgins 48-38. Arn Mulligan 65-63 & Alan Trowsdale 63-28. For Unison Alan Thomas Was a bit lucky to get home 41-40.
