It is with tremendous sadness that I begin this week with the awful news of the passing of Russ Harris at the age of just 52. Russ was well known and respected in pool and snooker circles, as well as being a keen advocate for younger players to get involved. He also oversaw the inter town team for many years, often driving the team and supporters to away matches in his minibus. Russ will be sorely missed in our local snooker scene.
