As you know, at the AGM we voted in favour of removing the aggregate point in both divisions, meaning that a player can now concede rather than every ball having to be potted.
However this can lead to the opportunity for a bonus break point being lost, for example where 3 reds are still on the table (possible 51) in division 1 or 1 red left (possible 35) in division 2.
Therefore, the committee have decided to prohibit conceding where there is still a potential break point there. Of course that point remains available for the losing player, who may also still be able to earn that extra point for their own team.
Please also be reminded to only concede on your next visit to the table as a matter of good etiquette, and that a player may refuse to accept your concession.
